## Overview
"Embracing Imperfection," curated by Cedric Chan, offers an in-depth exploration of calligraphy as a form of human, bodily practice. In an era dominated by AI-generated perfection and efficiency, this exhibition invites audiences to reconsider the value of "imperfections"—the pauses, the variations in ink density, and the accidental slips of the pen. These subtle traces represent the authentic trajectory of human life, standing in contrast to the clinical precision of algorithms.

## Highlights
The exhibition brings together works by a diverse group of artists, including BaBaMu, Ng Chak-hei, Lo Mei-yan, Ng Ka-yu, Li Ka-kiu, Li Chun-yin, Wong Chi-ming, Hung Yu-ling, Yu Kwok-hon, and Chan Shing-tin. They treat calligraphy not merely as a technical skill but as a deep engagement with language, knowledge, and cultural meaning production. By weaving together Chinese and English elements and reinterpreting cultural symbols, the artists challenge viewers to explore the connections between self-understanding and our relationships with others through the act of writing. Supported by the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre, this exhibition serves as a profound platform for contemporary artistic discourse.

## Venue & Access
Hosted at "Light and Space" in Wan Chai, a vibrant venue dedicated to contemporary creativity, this exhibition runs from October 8 to October 30, 2026. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Sunday, inviting art enthusiasts to experience the warmth and human narrative preserved in the art of writing.
