## Program
German cellist Jan Vogler will grace the stage at the Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou on December 9, 2026, for a monumental solo recital. This performance will feature a complete marathon performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello. Known as the "New Testament" of the cello repertoire, these six suites span from the clarity of the first to the expansive breadth of the sixth, each movement uniquely capturing diverse dance rhythms and profound emotional landscapes. Following his previous performances with major orchestras, Vogler returns to offer audiences an intimate and focused exploration of Bach’s masterworks. Without the accompaniment of an orchestra or piano, listeners will be treated to the raw, unadorned brilliance and interpretive depth of Vogler’s performance in this unmissable classical music event.
