## Highlights

This concert offers a compelling journey through diverse musical styles. A key highlight is the special arrangement of Vivaldi's famous *La Follia*, performed by a string quartet with added percussion, breathing new life and dynamic energy into the baroque classic. The program also showcases the narrative depths of Wynton Marsalis' *At The Octoroon Balls* (selections) alongside the emotional intensity of Mendelssohn's *String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor*, highlighting the versatility and expressive range of the string quartet medium.

- **Wynton Marsalis**: String Quartet No. 1 - At The Octoroon Balls (Movements 4. Many Gone, 5. Hellbound Highball, 6. Blue Lights on the Bayou, 7. Rampart St. Row House Rag)
- **Felix Mendelssohn**: String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor, Op. 13
